Note on delivery time: The standard delivery time is (2-3 days as stated above) if the item is in stock. If you receive a message that the item(s) are not in stock in the desired quantity, you can still place the order. We will then reserve the corresponding quantity and will dispatch it immediately when we next receive the goods. Please contact us for the expected delivery times.
Note for international sales. Delivery time might be longer. Not all countries are supported by the online shop system. If you receive a message from the store system that the shipping costs cannot be calculated, please contact us by e-mail. We will then prepare an offer.
Attention: You need electrical engineering knowledge to select the fuses! Please do not order if you do not have the appropriate training. Please note that a higher current than the rated current can flow for a certain time with all fuses. All components in the circuit must be designed for this current. Observe the maximum voltage and breaking capacity! We often see fuses being fitted directly to one pole of a battery cell. We do NOT recommend this without consulting the cell manufacturer. Like all fuses, this fuse also heats up in the vicinity of the cut-off current. The heat input into the cell can have negative effects. Ambient temperatures influence the cut-off point
FAQ: Q: Shouldn't the fuse be as close to the battery as possible? So preferably on the battery block? A: Due to the heat input, we do not recommend mounting directly on a cell. Use fuse holders. You can make the connection up to the fuse short-circuit-proof by laying the cables in such a way that a short circuit before the fuse is impossible. It is also possible to use double-insulated cables. We recommend NSGAFöü, for example. This is considered short-circuit-proof and has increased temperature resistance.
Multi Contact Male Branch Connector MC4 (plus) Pluggable with single-pole MC PV-cable coupler MC4. Unmated connections must be protected by sealing caps.
