Products description

 Product description

Adler's AG0 series ESS fuses have been developed and manufactured for use in industrial ESS and power distribution systems. They are manufactured from the highest quality materials and tested to the strictest standards. With rated currents from 25 A to 180 A and a breaking capacity of 10kA at 150V DC

Features
  • 150 V DC  / 240 V AC
  • Rated current: 25-180 A stock item, 250 to 400 A on request
  • Breaking capacity: 10 kA at 150 V DC
  • Dimensions: D=17.8mm; total length = 56mm; mounting hole for M6
  • QR code markings on each fuse for traceability
  • Very fast disconnection in the event of a short circuit (for semiconductor fuse protection), see data sheet.
Information on approvals:
  • Reference to: IEC 60269-4; GB 13539-4; BS88-4
  • Approval: UL (File: E485737)
Applications:
  • Protection of ESS and BESS circuits
  • Protection of power storage devices

Attention:
  • You need electrical engineering knowledge to select the fuses! Please do not order if you do not have the appropriate training.
  • Please note that a higher current than the rated current can flow for a certain time with all fuses. All components in the circuit must be designed for this current.
  • Be aware of the maximum voltage and breaking capacity!
  • We often see fuses being fitted directly to one pole of a battery cell. We do NOT recommend this. Like all fuses, this fuse also heats up in the vicinity of the cut-off current. The heat input into the cell can have negative effects. Use fuse holders or consult the cell manufacturer
  • Ambient temperatures influence the cut-off point

FAQ:
Q: Shouldn't the fuse be as close to the battery as possible? So preferably on the battery block?
A: Due to the heat input, we do not recommend mounting directly on a cell. Use fuse holders. You can make the connection up to the fuse short-circuit-proof by laying the cables in such a way that a short circuit before the fuse is excluded. It is also possible to use double-insulated cables. We recommend NSGAFöü, for example. This is considered short-circuit-proof and has increased temperature resistance.
