Heater plates for installation between the cells.
Size specifically for ECS LiMax-LFP160 and similar cells.

LFP cells should not be charged at low temperatures. Below 0°C, charging should not occur at all. Below 10°C, the charging current must already be reduced. To protect the cells, they must be warmed up before the actual charging process.
Our heater plates each have a sensor that turns the heater on when the temperature is below 12.5°C and turns it off when the temperature exceeds 14.5°C.
Through the individual monitoring of each heater plate, uniform and rapid heating is ensured.

Normal Heating

For a system with, e.g., 4 cells, at least 2 plates are needed.
For a system with, e.g., 8 cells, at least 4 plates are needed.

Fast Heating
For very fast heating, a heater plate can be installed between each cell, with a plate at the beginning and end of the cell stack.
At the beginning and end of the cell stack, an additional insulating plate may be needed.

The heating traces are in the inner layers of the PCB. The PCB is made of FR4 material.
FR-4 or FR4 refers to a class of flame-resistant and fire-retardant composite materials made from epoxy resin and fiberglass. The abbreviation FR stands for flame retardant and meets the requirements of UL94V-0Additional insulation between the cells is no longer necessary.
When using side plates for mounting the cells, as in our mounting kits, an additional insulating plate is required at both ends: HEATER_ISO_160L. This ensures the necessary distance between the soldering points (at the upper edge of the heating plate) and the metal plate.
