greenView combines five devices into one powerful tool:

Battery Monitor: greenView allows for precise monitoring of the battery’s state of charge (SOC) using current sensors. It tracks both charging and discharging currents, enabling the calculation of the state of charge in Ah. The device displays the following parameters:

State of charge (%)
State of charge in Ah
Charging current (A)
Discharging current (A)
Battery current (A)
Charging power (W)
Power consumed by connected loads (W)
Voltage (V)

Two current sensors are required (one for charge and one for load). Up to four sensors can be connected to differentiate which load or charging source is consuming or generating power. The advantage of current sensors over shunts (used by other manufacturers) is loss-free measurement.

Remote Display for greenController, LiPro's, and greenSwitch: greenView provides a comprehensive display of relevant information from ECS devices such as the greenController, greenSwitch, and LiPro's. This includes clear visualization of cell voltages and the ability to remotely control the greenSwitch.

BMS Master: greenView, in conjunction with the LiPro's, enables intelligent balancing. The balancing voltage is dynamically adjusted based on the current state of charge of the cells, ensuring earlier and more efficient balancing. Active LiPro’s can even support weaker cells during discharge, increasing the effective usable capacity of the battery bank.

Modbus TCP Server (Ethernet Converter): greenView includes an Ethernet interface with a connected Modbus TCP Server (replacing the older VNC server in firmware versions before 1.02). This feature allows you to remotely access and monitor your system from anywhere in the world. On the PC side, this is done through the greenViewDesktop software, which is faster than the old VNC client.

Data Logger: All collected data is saved on an SD card, which can be opened with programs like Excel or LibreOffice for further analysis. Data can also be visualized in diagrams for better understanding.
