Some items have to be sent via a forwarding agency. Therefore, there are higher costs here. Affected articles are, for example, solar modules and lithium batteries. Since the lithium batteries exceed the 100Wh limit, they must be sent as fully regulated dangerous goods (dangerous goods class 9, UN3480). This means that a dangerous goods surcharge is included in the price. Some competitors do not send this correctly and can therefore offer lower prices. The shipping costs for freight forwarding apply within Germany.
